Second series of sculptural textile objects made using tufting, sewing and other carpet techniques. They are made of second hand and recycled yarns as a consequence of research on sustainable yarn production. Their main inspiration comes from the forms of lichens, moulds, fungi and mosses, namely everything that emerges and overgrows. I treat threads and yarns as metaphors for connections and entanglements. The sculptures are overscaled, modular and designed to interact with architectural spaces, spreading around surfaces resembling creatures overgrowing and taking over.
