To embroider the truth means to make a story, the truth, etc. more interesting by adding details that are not true or accurate. During the research on the embroidery production within the historic embroidery factory in Balterswil TG I experimented with reproducing stains and other signs of damage of the building in guipure embroidery. The pieces are displayed covering shapes they depict.
